Petra Nylund

Petra is a Research Associate focusing on strategy and innovation at the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science, University of Stuttgart.

She holds a PhD in Management from IESE and an MSc in Engineering and Business Management from KTH, Stockholm. She has created strategies as a business consultant and corporate development manager in the telecoms industry in Africa, Latin America, and Europe. She is enthusiastic about the development of innovation ecosystems, and is also an expert in the econometric analysis of panel data. Her recent work centres on ecosystem dynamics in the context of artificial intelligence and its standardization, with a study in California Management Review. She also studies the emergence of ecosystems based on other enabling technologies with recent results published in R&D Management, Journal of Business Research, IEEE TEM, etc.
