Manchester is great city – proud of its innovation, music, football and diversity

Manchester is a friendly and welcoming city with a strong sense of community.

Known as the birthplace of the industrial revolution, it has a strong tradition of science and technology – first to split the atom,  create the programmable computer, discover graphene. It is also a city of culture, internationally recognised for its music and football.

Manchester is a lively place to socialise – the city centre and thriving Northern quarter are full of full of bars, places to eat and hear live music. The Smiths, Oasis, Joy Division, New Order, Elbow, Doves and The 1975 are all from Manchester.

You will have an enjoyable and memorable stay.
