Managing for Innovation – online course with Leeds University Business School and IBM

Managing for Innovation - Tony Morgan of IBMWe have just received details of this online course that might be of interest to someone tasked with managing innovation. It has been developed by academics in strategy and innovation from the Leeds University Business School and IBM.

Content includes:

  • Understand why organisations need to establish an innovation process and manage innovation systematically.
  • Prepare to lead innovation initiatives, by identifying challenges to innovation and types of innovation strategies.
  • Explore key motivators such as open innovation and design thinking, and discover practical insights on how to drive innovation effectively within either an established organisation or a growing venture.

Managing for InnovationThis online course, provided by FutureLearn, is aimed at anyone with an active interest or role in innovation management who wishes to improve their knowledge on the subject.

It is suitable for employees and managers at profit and non-profit organisations of different sizes, ages and sectors. Junior academic researchers from the fields of science and engineering, as well as managers from public/governmental organisations, may also be interested in the course.
