World Open Innovation Conference #WOIC2026 is planned for November 4-6 2026 in Kaunas, Lithuania.
2026 marks an important year for Open Innovation and #WOIC2026 follows a Festschrift in April which honored the contribution of Henry Chesbrough on his 70th birthday.
Marcel Bogers is Conference Chair of the World Open Innovation Conference, a Full Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology and a Research Fellow at UC Berkeley.
The system is now open for submissions, the deadline is 4 May 2026.

WOIC 2026 aims to combine the best of both worlds and bring together researchers and practitioners.
Therefore, the organisers are inviting contributions from corporate work or public policy experience and say that the best practice sessions are a great way to open up and share experiences with others to build a long-lasting community where practices, tips & tricks, and feedback are openly shared.
